Our story began in 1992, when John Cilmi left his banking career to deliver pizzas in Long Island. Within two years, his drive and determination led him to open his first store on 72nd Street in Manhattan.
In 2017, Giovani Jara partnered with John, bringing bold ideas, fresh energy, and a relentless focus on people and performance that helped lead JMC into a new era of growth across New York.
Since then, JMC has experienced tremendous expansion, growing from a handful of restaurants to more than 31 across New York and beyond — with more on the way. Many of our original team members are still with us more than 20 years later, a testament to the culture and opportunity this company provides.
